Day 1: Hello It’s Me
Hello, my name is Vernessie the owner of 7 L.O.C.S. Of Hair™
I am going to step out of my comfort zone to take part in this month of
February #Fiberuarychallenge2023.
I may not participate every day. But I will try hard to post.
First Let me reintroduce myself I am the proud mother of two fabulous daughters. Proud wife to my wonderful partner/husband for 37 years. Grandmother/Great Grandmother of 5 Stars of my heart.
I retired from working 27 years for L.A. County Environmental Health as an Intermediate Typist Clerk. I needed something to do after retirement. I worked 2 ½ more years in Arizona for Vee Quiva Casino-Hotel and for the Laveen School District for about six months.
Day 2: Project 23
How I am going to promote my #blackfiberartist skills with a twist
Using Synthetic hair fibers, and yarn to create wigs for little girls and for my crochet dolls.
The first fiber “yarn” artistry I fell in love with was crocheting my first Amigurumi Doll. After being tagged in a Facebook group by my daughter and creating my first crochet doll for my granddaughter. From that doll, my business was birthed 7 L.O.C.S. Of Hair™.
Day 3: GO RED For Heart Health
My contribution to this day is first of all. I “Gave Up COFFEE” and now I have to increase my intake of Black and Green Tea as my coffee substitute. This drink helps lower the risk of heart attack and stroke, and short-term studies suggest it is good for your blood vessel health.
