Ecclesiastes 3:1 Amplified Bible A Time for Everything 3 There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—
Choices – Actions – Results – Season’s – Purpose
I interpret this “Time Poem”/scripture to mean that things here on earth do not happen, except at the right, divinely determined time or season. In other words, “this is the way it is!” Expect unhappiness in a changing world. Be prepared for disappointment. This passage in Ecclesiastes doesn’t tell us when to weep and when to laugh, but it points out we are to make certain to understand that God has set up the world where both occur. God created the world that flows through an order of several time cycles, and we are to know God is ALWAYS in control. He allows and permits certain things to happen at certain seasons or times.
That is why it is important to have God in your life; to fear God and keep His commandments. I try to live life under the shadow of His truth. I understand that God has set a pattern and flow to living for his purpose through choices, actions, results, and seasons and this trend will continue until God’s judgment day. Therefore, I acknowledge God’s ownership of time, and it helps me to live here on earth and remain sane, balanced and confident knowing He is the One who is in control of time.
I Pray Father give me wisdom and understanding to be on Your time and not consumed by society and world time of my past and future. Let me find the time to focus on You so that I can appreciate Your blessing each day of my life here on earth. I acknowledge that Everything I gain through choices, actions, results, and seasons has prepared me to live Your purpose. I desire to continue to evolve and grow spiritually to be the vessel that you mold me into based on my life experience. I surrender to You, Your Power, and Your Glory— Amen.
