Hello, Ladies and Gents!

My name is Vernessie, I am 13 years into my natural hair journey and a survivor of Alopecia hair loss.

I am inspired by many great websites and blogs relating to natural hair. I always had a love for hair since my teen years, and I carried out my dream by becoming a selftaught hair braider. That is truly my gift because I easily mastered it through continual practice; to love it and nothing’s changed I still love it and continue to evolve.

I want to thank my followers of Vernessie’s Journey over this past two years. Thank you for reading, sharing and commenting. Since retirement I needed something to do to occupy my time and mind; A light bulb went off in my head; I have bags and bags of old wigs that I have kept over the years. My love of creativity using my braid skills the vision of BraidWig Maker started.

So as a survivor of Alopecia hair loss myself
